When relocating, you probably won't have the time to look at every home on the market. At best, you might have the time to tour a couple dozen, so narrow down that list first thing with these tips:

Send me two lists a few days before arriving: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can obviously cross it off the list.
Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, secure your pre-approved amount prior to seeing listings so we can eliminate homes out of your price range.
Consider drive time to your job or other activities. Traffic in the Norman area could be different than what you're accustomed to, so tell me how long a commute you're willing to undertake.

Before we meet in person, I could send you my picks for properties we should see first. Or you might already have some strong possibilities you could share with me as a result of your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is invaluable, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. I can arrange any necessary appointments and map a route.
